Koukin Fuji is the brainchild between Sanko Manufacturing Corporation (a metal plating manufacturer) and Iwakura Weilding Industry Ltd, both located in Shizuoka Prefecture.
Drawing inspiration from the omnipresent Mount Fuji that watches over Shizuoka, Koukin Fuji is a homeware brand that makes use of a unique coating processing technique that suppresses the propagation of bacteria, and offering an antimicrobial effect known as “Koukin”. Together, the two companies have created a series of antimicrobial lifestyle products that are both design-centric and safe to use. Kokin Fuji has been honoured by OMOTENASHI Selection, which is a prestigious award that aims to showcase the creativity and ingenuity of Japanese-made products and services.
