What’s so smart about this eyepiece, you ask? The collaboration brings eyewear that allows you to listen to music or take calls in style. Talk about something straight from a Tom Cruise action movie!
Key features and compatibility
The glasses are equipped with “semi-open, 128mm large amplitude speakers” promising “supreme audio quality with amazing clarity”. It also has touch controls which allow wearers to play and skip tracks, control sound volume, and answer calls by tapping, swiping, or pressing the temple area of the glasses. The device also auto-detects whether it’s put on or taken off, adjusting connectivity defaults accordingly.
The Smart Audio Glasses are said to last up to six hours of full audio playback on a full charge and are also rated with IPX4 water and moisture resistance. The device is also compatible with iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows.

The OWNDAYS x Huawei Eyewear Smart Audio Glasses come in two classic designs priced at SGD398 each: the Rectangle or the Wellington (square). Both designs come in black and grey and can be transformed into sunglasses using snap lenses sold separately for SGD20.
The best part? Despite the upgrade, these glasses are lightweight and still provide comfort-for-wear like regular glasses.
