While there is no cafe or souvenir shop at Nabedaira Kogen Station, a short 3-minute walk along a gentle slope leads to Shirakabadaira Station. There, you can indulge in the unique creations of a bakery cafe, including the famous Hotaka ropeway bread. Additionally, a snack stand offers local delicacies, and weary travellers can soothe their feet in the ashiyu foot bath before continuing their journey on Ropeway number two.
Ropeway No. 2: Reaching new heights
Continue the adventure at Shirakabadaira Station. Board the double-decker gondola of Ropeway number two and prepare to be captivated as you ascend further into the heart of the Japanese Alps. Nishihotakaguchi Station: A peak experience

Getting there and more
The lower station of the Shinhotaka Ropeway is easily accessible by direct hourly buses from Hirayu Onsen (35-45 minutes, 910JPY one way) and Takayama Station (90 minutes, 2200JPY one way). Ensure you disembark at the final stop, Shinhotaka Ropeway. Paid parking is available at both the ropeway's lower station and Nabedaira Kogen Station, although buses only serve the lower station. Please note that the car park at Nabedaira Kogen Station is closed during the winter season.
Admission fees
