The ORIBE x Kohei Komori 2022 Holiday Collection
The beauty brand collaborated with Japanese contemporary decorative artist Kohei Komori to create the Goddess of Paradise, an art piece inspired by ORIBE’s ‘goddess’ logo, for the collection’s main look.
The print features traditional Japanese animal and plant motifs entwined with a goddess’ overflowing locks to represent a diverse range of beautiful hair textures seen around the world. Parts of the print are used on the packaging of the limited edition sets.
According to Komori, the idea was to represent “unity in diversity” which is something ORIBE as a brand also stands for.

The collection introduces four different curations, all of which feature sustainable packaging. The boxes are made with 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) paper while the trays in the applicable sets use 100% renewable and biodegradable plant fibre.
The first box is the Côte d’Azur Hand Care Set, priced at SGD108 (original value SGD136), which includes the Côte d’Azur Revitalizing Hand Wash and the Côte d’Azur Nourishing Hand Crème. This sensual and citrusy floral duo help soften and moisturise your hands and nails with the help of macadamia oil, watermelon seed extract, and coconut oil.
